New Silverado 4500 HD, 5500 HD, And 6500 HD Releases Debut at NTEA 2018

Some of our favorite months are definitely upon us here at Orielly Chevy of Tucson: great family events such as the Easter Celebration at the Avalon Organic Gardens are starting to pop up all over town! On 9 AM Easter Sunday, the Avalon Organic Gardens and EcoVillage hosts its annual celebration, featuring activities such as pony rides, live music, an Easter egg hunt, and theater activities. If you or anyone in your family is interested in learning about North America's largest Eco Village established in 1989, you can take a tour of the entire premises. Loading up your family and loved ones in a brand new truck would be a great way to ring in spring, and during the first week of March at the NTEA Work Truck Show, Chevy released its first-ever Silverado class 4, 5, and 6 chassis cab trucks.

These are 3 immensely capable conventional cab models up for grabs, and will be the most customer-focused trucks offered by any major competitor. Valued input from fleet managers, technicians, upfitters, and truck drivers, as well as dealers themselves, were all very important factors during the development of these able and versatile new Silverado trucks. They will be available in 4WD as well as 2WD, and are slated to be powered by a 6.6- liter 350 horsepower Duramax diesel engine, delivering a massive 700 lb-ft of torque. The included transmission from Allison has a long history of very well-proven power, and loyal Chevy owners will appreciate this as well as the hefty and driven Duramax diesel engine.

The Silverado will now be the most connected commercial truck available on the market, thanks to options that include OnStar and Commercial link, Bluetooth, wireless phone charging ability, and support for AppleCarplay as well as Android Auto. During 2017, GM fleet delivered nearly 300,000 units to government and commercial customers, the most sales recorded outside of private ownership since 2008. This resulted in our brand gaining nearly 1.4 percentage points of the entire market share, and this new 3-pickup strategy was built around the concept of the Colorado mid-size pickup, as well as the 1-ton and ¼ ton Silverado designs.

One of the best solutions that Chevy is now able to offer Tucson area truck buyers is the availability of trucks such as these, that have a focus on not providing difficulty while driving. There are many current models out there that were constructed with very poor downward perspective for the driver, combined with poor low-speed maneuverability because of narrow wheel cuts. This can make for a very difficult to drive final product, and Chevy has put in many hours as of late to provide up to 50-degree wheel cuts, as well as a hood that is countered to fully optimize the driver's perspective of the road below them.

An additional feature that really gives Chevy a strong sense of pride for these 3 new truck models is the success gleaned in solving an intense noise problem. Aftermarket air suspensions that you won't find in a Ford or Ram are triple-sealed, along with insert doors to help reduce road and other wind noise. The incorporation of huck bolts is used throughout the frame, resulting in a high amount of force used for effective clamping. We hope you visit us this spring at Orielly Chevy of Tucson, and check out the 7 cab-to-axle options, all sized to 8-inch increment. Offering up the best in trucks that provide durability, rugged appeal, and long-lasting performance, everyone here is excited about the release of these awesome new models. Orielly Chevy is consistently your on-point location for top-notch sales and service in Tucson, and we stand by pour pledge to offer up no shortage of truck excitement for buyers during the spring this season!
