Get Ready for Two New Corvettes from Chevrolet!

Get excited Tucson because there are two new super corvettes on the way! We can expect to see an upgraded version of the current C7 (which will revive the ZR1 name) and the long-rumored mid-engine Corvette.

According to Autoblog.com, we should expect to see the C7 ZR1 in 2018, while the mid-engine C7/8 will arrive in a year or two. So far, every look we’ve gotten at the vehicles have been camouflaged, so we’ve been unable to grasp the true silhouette of the next generation ‘Vettes. Still we’re able to spot some similarities and differences between the vehicles.

The Corvettes look nearly identical in the sense that they have similar windshield, roof panel, side window, side mirror, and taillight design. So, what’s the difference that experts were able spot? The mid-engine car front is much shorter and the rear is much more extended than the ZR1. There is also a big difference in the vehicles unique cooling needs. The mid-engine Vette also has been sculpted to route airflow to the intakes. Even with the slight differences in appearance you know both cars will provide an incredible driving experience.

A Tucson ‘Vette fanatic or not, you’re going to want to check these sports cars out. In the meantime, be sure to stop by and see us at O’Reilly Chevrolet in Tucson, AZ to shop our current lineup of Corvettes

A truck designed to work as hard as you do!

Finally, a truck designed to work has hard as you do! Chevrolet and Carhartt, two distinguished American companies, have teamed up to create the Silverado 2500HD Carhartt edition, a truck with the flexibility to get any job done.

This Silverado 2500HD is equipped with all-weather floor liners, lifted suspension, electrical outlets (located in the bed), trailering mirrors, tow hooks, 20-inch aluminum wheels and more!

However, what really makes the Silverado Carhartt Edition stand out from the rest is the Carhartt gold pinstripe graphics and the Silverado badging expressed with Carhartt brand font.

“When Carhartt and Chevy started working together on this concept truck, we quickly realized that our mutual respect for hardworking people and the utility they expect from our brands would equal the ultimate truck for anyone who works and plays in the rugged outdoors,” said Tony Ambroza, senior vice president of marketing at Carhartt. “For more than 127 years, Carhartt has designed workwear by solving for the needs and practical ways hardworking people use every product we make, and that’s the same kind of thinking we applied to this collaboration.”

This is just a concept truck, but it includes and improves upon the durability, versatility, safety, technology and power that is crafted into all Silverados!

The Chevrolet Silverado is made for the everyday hard working Tucson driver, offering the technology, safety, and power to tackle any task thrown in your direction. So, come by O’Rielly Chevrolet today to test drive the new 2017 Chevy Silverado today!
