2019 Camaro SS Trim Feature Lineup: Stellar on Safety and Personalization

As there are still months of warms days left here in Tucson, high-performance and thrill-providing cars such as the Camaro are going to be heavily under the radar for any thrill-loving customer's choice. Back during June of 1966, the media introduction of the original 1967 Camaro was the very first large-scale teleconference ever held, employing over 100 technicians in 14 various hotel conference rooms to get the job done. There are definitely plenty of exciting new things for 2019 regarding the Camaro's SS trim: New front-end styling, including the fascia, grille, dual-element headlamps, LED signature lighting, and extractor-style hood is on deck, with the new “flowtie” open bowtie grille emblem, polished black grille finish, and aero-enhancing air curtains as prominent features.

Dark-tinted neutral-density lenses are new features for the rear fascia and sculpted  LED taillamps, as well as a brand-new 20-inch wheel design. The 8-speed automatic transmission previously in place is replaced with a new ten-speed, and now includes lift-foot gear hold, Tour, Sport, and Track modes, as well as custom launch control, and line lock. Also on board is the very wildly popular Chevy Infotainment system, with an 8-inch color touchscreen, available navigation, and a greater sense of personalization along with a much more intuitive user interface. When you come by to see us at O'Rielly for a test drive this fall, ask us to show you the Cloud connectivity: It enhances voice navigation, recognition, and other productivity apps for the user.

The 2019 Camaro SS trim level is equipped with a full-display rear camera mirror, sporting very improved, high-definition view quality, as well as forward collision alert. The revised ambient lighting with new blended color choices adds a very cool hue and character to the overall vibe of the car, and this trim provides the choice of convertible, or coupe model. The 6.2-LIter LT1 direct-injected Small Block V-8 is now rated at 455 horsepower, and 455 lb-ft of torque. One truly exciting additive for high-speed corner-taking carnivores is the 1LE Performance Package: it offers more than 1G of cornering capability, and includes Brembo six-piston monobloc brake calipers, 4-piston rear calipers, two-piece brake rotors, and electronic limited-slip differential.

Camaros have always been a thing of wonder to behold within the auto realm, and  even though the modern feel is quite different than the muscle cars of the 1960s, the dual-mode exhaust and magnetic ride control will make the ride just as pinnacle an experience as one of the ponies of yesteryear. The Driver Mode Selector enables you to thoroughly tailor the look, sound, and feel of the car to meet your driving condition and preference. Connectivity is more important than ever: the Chevrolet $G LTE with wi-fi hotspot will keep you seamlessly online and connected with a one-month 3GB data trial. Everyone here at O'Rielly is excited about this Camaro trim: a true and iconic legend really comes to life with elements of newer flair and massive redesign.

When you get your hands on a car this powerful, safety features are always important. Standard on the 2SS are Rear Park Assist, Rear-Cross Traffic Alert, and Side Blind Zone Alert, with Forward Collision Alert now available on the 2SS Coupe. For the exhilarating times when treating the Camaro as if you were on circuit becomes a priority, you'll want to investigate the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system: it will always keep you at a peak level of control on the road, even during low-traction driving conditions and on-road sections that are uneven or loose in any way!
